My lovesss, I have been MIA, I know so I’m going to keep it all the way real with you…
25 has been a shxt show...
Excuse my language lol, but that’s what I’ve been funnily saying this past year because you lot… It's taken me for a whirlwind. A worthy one though!!
So where do I even start?
If you’re here you probably know (or maybe not) that over the pandemic alongside my business Consciously You (now The Conscious Collective), I became a manifestation coach.
I was going HARD sis, I’m talking minimum 3 posts a week (on 2 IG pages), IG lives, free challenges, events, one-on-one coaching, group coaching, weekly emails, and selling products, all while having a full-time job, a relationship and trying to live a lil…I genuinely loved the impact I was having and getting to connect with and help so many like-minded women…but truthfully, it became draining. I feel like reading that was draining, no? lofl
Entrepreneurship is hard AF y'all. It requires a lot of consistent effort, time, and mental capacity (esp w. coaching), which got hard to manage while also trying to build and excel in my career.
Not only that, life started life-ing. I turned 25 last October and what’s crazy is externally, life has been so good; I live in a nice apartment with my partner, have a really good and well paying job, have my own car, traveled bla bla bla…but internally, boyyy.
Have you ever heard of a quarter-life crisis?
Yea that’s where I’ve been at these last 10-12 months and I wanted to give myself grace through it rather than force myself to keep up with unrealistic expectations that I set…
It’s been a very…revealing year and truthfully I lost all desire to keep up with social media and my businesses. There’s been friendships changing, relationships changing, reevaluation of who I am, what I want and who I want to be, of how I want to spend my time and my money…just overall reflection, but so much growth.
Prior to this, I’d always been so set on getting to the next thing but this past year I’ve been focused on living through all of it. So often we try to avoid our discomfort, and race to get out of it or control it (guilty!) but I’ve found so much growth and strength in allowing things to just be as they are, discomfort and all, to see how it unfolds. And trust me, it’s always in our favor!
My passion to impact, inspire and build fulfilling, prosperous lives with other like-minded women never waivered, but this time around I’m going to do things in a way that works and feels good to me. This blog is going to encourage you to do the same.
I’m inviting you along the journey to figure this life thing out and we’ll see where the journey takes us! I am excited you’re here and hope you join me sista, because I truly believe we are so much better and stronger together!
I’m going to use this blog to share my journey, books I’m reading, things I’m doing to develop and grow, mindset and manifestation practices that work for me, career tips, and so much more. I hope that at least one of you can find something to relate to here; inspiration, a tip that makes all the difference, friendship (holla at meeee), or just something positive to add to your day.
If you can relate to this quarter-life crisis stage, please comment below so I know I’m not alone girllll. Let’s ride through this thing together and get to the other side better than ever!

Girl this was so good and spot on!
24 was filled with adventure, opportunities, positive thinking and just overall determination to see things through.
25 has been filled with depression, suicidal thoughts, working in a toxic work environment and burnout 24/7. It’s definitely been a trying time in life.
Thank you for sharing your experience! Hoping this get better.
Loved this read! You are definitely not alone as I can absolutely relate especially pertaining to running a business and dealing with life as it comes. One thing I know is that it’s okay to pause in life. We deserve to have a grace period with ourselves. It helps us to find our selves and learn through the moments in life. I know for a fact that you’ll flourish no matter what as it’s inside of you to do well. Your story is pretty much my journey in the past few months so im here for you and with you sis. Keep growing, learning and being you. You’re on the right path. Everything has a reason behind it.
Loved reading and your authenticity is warming! I went through a proper similar crisis going into 25 and the crises just change with time. Thank you for sharing. I sometimes battle with the idea that I should be doing all the things but often come back to just trusting my own pace of the process.
So look forward to continuing on following the journey and all the things you have in store with The Conscious Collective! Rooting for you! Thank you for being a model simply by being true to you.🫶🏾✨
So glad you knew to stop and hold space for yourself – too often we forget to be soft with ourselves. Looking forward to seeing more!
